Add mycorrhizae to plants that are already in the ground

Mykos WP is the water-soluble powder form of Mykos, built for situations where you cannot place granules directly on roots. Mix it into your reservoir, hand-water it as a root drench, soak clone plugs in it, or run it through a drip system. Same single species of Rhizophagus intraradices at 250 propagules per gram, milled to dissolve cleanly and reach established root zones where granules cannot go.

Granular mycorrhizae on established plants vs. Mykos WP
Granular After Planting
  • Granules sit on the soil surface, never reaching the root zone
  • Cannot be used in hydroponic reservoirs or drip lines
  • No way to inoculate clones or seeds without direct placement
  • Digging around established roots risks damage
  • One application method: sprinkle into the hole at transplant
  • Missed the transplant window? No good options left
Mykos WP
  • Dissolves in water and flows directly to the root zone with every watering
  • Works in reservoirs, drip irrigation, sprayers, and hand-watering
  • Soak clone plugs or seeds for pre-planting inoculation
  • Root drench delivers inoculant without disturbing soil or root structure
  • Multiple application methods: drench, reservoir, dip, spray
  • Inoculate at any stage from clone to mid-flower
The same proven fungus, built for water delivery

Milled for Full Water Solubility 250 propagules/g

Proprietary milling process preserves spore viability while creating a fine powder that dissolves completely. No clogged drip emitters, no sediment in reservoirs.

Same Single Species, No Competition

Pure Rhizophagus intraradices with no Trichoderma, no ecto-mycorrhizae, and no filler microbes. The same proven strain used in the granular form.

Apply Weekly Through Veg and Early Flower

Unlike granular Mykos (one-time at transplant), WP is designed for repeated weekly applications that reinforce the fungal network as the plant grows. Stop after the second week of flower.

Hydroponic Reservoir Compatible

Add directly to DWC, RDWC, ebb-and-flow, or any recirculating system. Keep the reservoir well oxygenated with air stones or pumps for best results.

Clone and Seed Treatment

Soak clone plugs in a Mykos WP solution (1/4 cup per gallon) for 10 minutes before inserting cuttings. Seeds get inoculated before they even break soil.

Compatible with Any Nutrient Line

Works alongside synthetic salts, organic feeds, and compost teas. Use unchlorinated water for best results, as chlorine can suppress beneficial microbes.

How to apply Mykos WP

1

Mix with unchlorinated water

For root drench: 1/4 cup (4 tbsp) per gallon. For reservoirs: 1/2 cup per 50 gallons. Use immediately after mixing.

2

Apply to the root zone

Pour about 2 cups of solution at the base of each plant for a root drench. For reservoirs, add directly and keep well oxygenated with air stones.

3

Repeat weekly

Apply once per week through the vegetative stage and into early flower. Stop applications after the second week of flower.

4

For clones and seeds

Soak clone plugs in solution (1/4 cup per gallon) for 10 minutes before placing cuttings. Water in the remaining solution after planting.

  • Pair with: Mykos Granular at transplant for initial colonization, then maintain with WP weekly
WP or Granular? Use Granular at transplant when you can place it directly on roots. Use WP for established plants, hydro systems, and clone/seed soaking. Many growers use both. Call or email us: 716-217-0353 / help@happyhydro.com
Frequently asked questions
Same fungal species, different delivery method. Granular is designed for one-time application directly onto roots at transplant. WP dissolves in water so you can drench established root zones, add it to hydro reservoirs, or soak clone plugs. Granular has 300 propagules per gram, WP has 250 per gram due to the milling process. Many growers use Granular at transplant and WP for weekly maintenance.
Yes. Add 1/2 cup per 50 gallons of reservoir water. Keep the reservoir well oxygenated with air stones or pumps. The powder dissolves fully and will not clog drip emitters or spray nozzles. Change your reservoir solution as you normally would, and re-dose with each change.
Unchlorinated water gives the best results because chlorine can suppress beneficial microbes. If you are on city water, let it sit uncovered for 24 hours before mixing, or run it through a carbon filter. Well water and RO water work without any treatment.
Use it immediately after mixing. The propagules are alive and lose viability the longer they sit in solution. Mix only what you plan to apply in that session.
Apply weekly through the vegetative stage and into early flower. Stop after the second week of flower. By that point the fungal network is established and the plant shifts its energy toward fruiting and finishing. The mycorrhizae will continue working on their own.
You can add it to a reservoir that already contains nutrients. Mykos WP is compatible with both synthetic and organic nutrient lines. Avoid mixing it directly with concentrated nutrient stock solutions before diluting, and keep the pH in a normal range. Very high phosphorus levels can reduce colonization rates, but standard feeding programs are fine.
